Arinavo Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information Arinavo uses when the app provides Coach Chat, Speak Session, Quick Translate, Visual Translate, profile setup, and notes features.
1.AI Features and Consent
Before Coach Chat or Visual Translate sends content for AI processing, Arinavo shows an AI Session Consent dialog inside the app. That dialog explains the feature, the information involved, and gives the user the option to continue or stop before the AI feature runs.
2.Information Used for Coach Chat and Visual Translate
- Coach Chat can use the prompt text the user submits, the voice transcript the user chooses to send, recent messages from the same Coach Chat conversation, and the selected language information needed to generate the reply.
- Visual Translate can use the image the user chooses together with the selected target language needed to return translated text.
- These AI requests are processed through Alibaba Cloud DashScope.
3.Text Translation Features
Quick Translate and translation flows used in speaking practice, note translation, or writing review can send the text the user submits, or the transcript generated from the user's spoken input, together with the selected target language needed to return the translation result. These translation requests are processed through Google Cloud Translation.
4.How Arinavo Uses Information
Arinavo uses the information needed to provide the feature the user opens. That includes generating Coach Chat replies, returning translation results, showing profile details, publishing notes, and supporting moderation or support actions. Arinavo does not use these AI inputs for ads, profiling, or identity checks.
5.Other Information Used in the App
- Profile details such as display name, profile image, and selected language pair.
- Notes content such as written text, attached images, captions, and related moderation reports.
- Support details the user includes when contacting support.
6.How Information Is Collected
Information is collected when the user types text, starts a voice feature, chooses or captures an image, updates a profile, publishes a note, requests a translation, sends a report, or contacts support through the app or support email.
7.Permissions
Microphone permission is requested for voice practice and voice chat input. Camera and photo access are requested when the user captures or selects an image for profile setup or Visual Translate.
8.Sharing and Availability
Arinavo shares information only with service providers needed for the requested feature, including Alibaba Cloud DashScope for Coach Chat and Visual Translate and Google Cloud Translation for text translation features. Arinavo expects these providers to process the information only for the requested feature and with protection consistent with this Privacy Policy.
Coach Chat history, profile details, notes, and attached images can remain available in the app until the user clears, edits, or deletes them. Support and moderation submissions can remain available while the related request is being handled.
9.User Choices
The user can choose not to continue when the AI Session Consent dialog appears, clear Coach Chat history, edit or delete notes, update profile content, and revoke permissions in system settings. Privacy-related questions or deletion requests can be sent to support@arinavo.com.
